A Joyous Celebration to Mark Our New Beginning
In October 23,2025, NHB Lighting proudly celebrated the grand opening of our new showroom.
The event was filled with festive energy — rhythmic drums, vibrant lion dances, and joyful applause from our guests.
To mark this special day, a traditional Lion Dance “Cai Qing” (Plucking the Greens) ceremony was held at the entrance. The lion climbed high to pluck a bundle of fresh lettuce — symbolizing “wealth and prosperity” — and then spat out a red banner, extending its blessings of “Great Opening and Flourishing Business” to NHB Lighting.

“Cai Qing” – A Symbol of Wealth and Success
In Cantonese tradition, “Cai Qing” means “Plucking the Greens”, where “green” sounds like “wealth”.
The act of the lion plucking the lettuce and spitting out a red banner represents good fortune, prosperity, and success in business.
